Creative Batik - Rosi Robinson

I have seen many how-to books and have collected a fair number. But this is by-far the most simply explained and beautifully illustrated book that I own.

Even if one doesn't have the specific tools, the book really gives you the impetuous to try out something even if it is the simplest of ways.

I have linked the book displayed on Amazon .com just so that you can take a peek at the beautiful pictures in the book.

Hi ,

I was reading ur blog posts and found some of them to be very good.. u write well.. Why don't you popularize it more.. ur posts on ur blog ‘My Books & I’ took my particular attention as some of them are interesting topics of mine too;

BTW I help out some ex-IIMA guys who with another batch mate run www.rambhai.com where you can post links to your most loved blog-posts. Rambhai was the chaiwala at IIMA and it is a site where users can themselves share links to blog posts etc and other can find and vote on them. The best make it to the homepage!

This way you can reach out to rambhai readers some of whom could become your ardent fans.. who knows.. :)

You can also win an exciting t-shirt by winning the contest which is going on in rambhai.com…. hurry up the contest is from 10 – 24 august…

Cheers,

Hi Swapna

Thanks for your comments on my blog. It seems that you are a student of literature and also a critic.

I do love people who are critics and you are doing a great job. Most critics turn out to be good writers. Why don’t you write you own book?

Batik?
:D
I'll check it out
There was a period many silly years ago when everything I owned had to have some batik design on it.
